In Thailand again

So we are at it again. Traveling through Thailand during the winter months in Canada. We don't do this to avoid winter in Canada, but to explore Thailand and give Kai the opportunity to deepen his knowledge of the country he was born. In the end it is about spending time together as a family, with all its love, twists, turns, and beauty.

We departed St. John's on December 1st and return in January. We start in the South of Thailand and make our way North for New Years in Chiang Mai. Lisa, as usual, has done an amazing job in setting an itinerary that meets many of our needs for adventure and learning new things about Thailand. She deserves a lot of credit, for her ability to identify amazing places to stay, at the right price, with the perfect rustic appeal.

Our itinerary is as follows;

• 10 days in an around Khao Lak including 2 days snorkeling in the Surin National Park.
• A short stay in Chiang Mai before we depart to Chiang Rai for 10 days
• Then a return to Mae Rim for New Years
