During a weekend this summer Lisa and I got some child care and accomplished a trip we had both aspired for years. We kayaked 16 km to Anvil Island, snagged Leading Peak, and then kayaked another 12 km to Gambier Island for a good nights sleep. The next morning we had a good breakfast and then snagged Mt. Artiban on Gambier. Returned to the campground and kayaked 8 km back to snug cove. An outstanding weekend.
The trip was all facilitated by Bowen Island Kayaking and the guiding and support was outstanding. If you are ever looking for a good weekend adventure, are in reasonable physical condition and do well in a kayak; I would strongly recommend this excellent adventure.
