Arrival in Chiang Rai

Took the bus today from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. Awesome bus ride through the mountains, amazing how quickly a jungle could take over if it was left alone. Very cool winding highway up and over a couple of mountains. The mountain tops wereally mist covered. All so golden trianglesque.

Once we traversed a couple of very furtile valley flours we arrived in Chiang Rai and booked ourselves into Benn Guesthouse. Lisa has taken off for a few days into a spa retreat, and that leaves Kai, Lucas and I to fend for ourselves. So we do what we do, we set out to find some food. And we found it at Grand-may pie's, right in the centre of Chiang Rai.
